Switchgear 10 kV KM-1

Middle-voltage switchgear KM1 series are designed for operation in electrical installations of three-phase alternating current of 50 and 60 Hz frequency and rated voltage of 6 and 10 kV for a system with an isolated or earthed through an arc suppression reactor neutral.
Switchgear are used for rated voltage 6 and 10 kV substations for various purposes, including:
- grid substations,
- substations for industrial facilities,
- substations of oil and gas fields,
- substations for supplying agricultural consumers.
Switchgear are designed for indoor operation at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level. (climatic version U3 and T3 according to GOST15150-69).
Switchgear is a prefabricated rigid metal structure with a door, as well as without a door, divided by blind metal and insulating partitions into compartments:
- compartment of the withdrawable element (switch);
- cable compartment;
- busbar compartment;
- relay cabinet.
The design of the switchgear provides for the introduction of high-voltage cable into the high-voltage compartment through cable ducts at the bottom of the cabinet with subsequent connection in the cabinet. The design of the enclosure allows for a maximum of four high-voltage cables with a cross-section of 3x240 mm2. The connections (input or output) can be either cable or busbar.
Protection of switchgear metalwork against corrosion is provided by paint and galvanic coatings. The layout of cabinets provides convenience of inspection, repair and dismantling of the main equipment.
Switchgear are unified and regardless of the schemes of electrical connections of the main circuit have a similar design of the main components and the same overall dimensions. The cabinets are divided into cabinets with pull-out elements (with circuit breakers, with voltage transformers, with auxiliary transformers, with disconnector, etc.), as well as cabinets without pull-out elements (blind entry, cable separators, etc.).
