Switchgear 10 kV KU-10S
Switchgear of the series KU-10S for voltage 6-10 kV are used for receiving and distributing three-phase alternating current electricity with a frequency of 50 Hz in networks with an isolated or grounded neutral.
Switchgear 10kV KU-10S are used in:
- indoor switchgear units (ISU) of complete transformer substations (CTS);
- electrical substations of industrial enterprises;
- switchgear of power plants' own needs;
- public utility facilities;
- and other power supply facilities.
Switchgear 10kV KU-10S are installed both in permanent buildings of indoor switchgear units and in special quickly-mounted modules of full factory readiness.
The housing of the switchgear 10kV KU-10S is made of steel with a aluminum-zinc coating, and is divided into compartments isolated from each other, each of which is equipped with a separate channel for releasing excess pressure, which provides localized protection of personnel in case of internal arc short circuits.
The operational safety of the switchgear 10kV KU-10S is ensured by a system of built-in mechanical and electromechanical interlocks in accordance with the requirements of IEC.
Simplicity of assembly, installation and commissioning is ensured by convenient access to the mounting points of switchgear 10kV KU-10S, cable and busbar connections.
Secondary switching circuits are laid in insulated metal cable ducts, ensuring their protection and high noise immunity;
