Switchgear K-63

Switchgear of the series K-63 for voltage 6-10 kV are used for receiving and distributing three-phase alternating current electricity with a frequency of 50 Hz in networks with an isolated or grounded neutral.
Switchgear K-63 are used in:
- indoor switchgear units (ISU) of complete transformer substations (CTS);
- electrical substations of industrial enterprises;
- switchgear of power plants' own needs;
- public utility facilities;
- and other power supply facilities.
Switchgear K-63 are installed both in permanent buildings of indoor switchgear units and in special quickly-mounted modules of full factory readiness.
The housing of the switchgear K-63 is made of steel with a polymer or aluminum-zinc coating, and is divided into compartments isolated from each other, each of which is equipped with a separate channel for releasing excess pressure, which provides localized protection of personnel in case of internal arc short circuits.
The operational safety of the switchgear K-63 is ensured by a system of built-in mechanical and electromechanical interlocks in accordance with the requirements of IEC.
Simplicity of assembly, installation and commissioning is ensured by convenient access to the mounting points of switchgear K-63, cable and busbar connections.
Secondary switching circuits are laid in insulated metal cable ducts, ensuring their protection and high noise immunity;
The wide unification of the components of the switchgear K-63 ensures their adaptation and modernization in accordance with the requirements of the project documentation.
